This year East High School honored the tradition of allowing students and teachers to dress up for Halloween. It is always exciting for the student media organizations to see everyone come to school dressed in their costumes. There was no shortage of costumes on Halloween, each of them creative and funny in their own way. On a personal note, this is my final year capturing the costumes at East, and students this year have shown the most Halloween spirit yet!

Dressing up for Halloween originates from the Pagan holiday Samhain, and continues to be a timeless tradition around the country. Whether your costume was intricate or subtle, we are glad that you participated in Halloween and contributed to the culture and community at East. See if you can spot your friends and teachers in our select collection of photos:

Happy Halloween!
