East Girls Basketball is going on its revenge tour! After two rough games to start their season, the girls are on a four-game winning streak bringing them to an overall record of 4-2. After a rocky year last year, EGBB is looking to get revenge on multiple teams throughout the season. The revenge tour started with big wins against Strath Haven, Downingtown East, West Chester Henderson, and Lower Merion. Be on the lookout for the girls this year as they are not backing down, especially with the return of senior captain Mikayla Kushner from a knee injury last year. She is leading the team along with captains Kayla Legenstein, Annie Kerns, and Kayla Miller. Their next game is on December 21st at Avon Grove.

The East Boys Basketball team is on a run to start their season, with a 4-2 record, and had an exciting win against cross-town rival, Henderson! There are high expectations and goals for the team and its captains Jack Kushner and Jose Ramos. Some of the team's goals are becoming District One champions, winning Chesmonts for the fourth year in a row, and becoming State champions. After talking to Coach Garvin, he said to achieve these goals they would need to work on “finding their way on the court, learning to play together, and finding chemistry with each other.” Their next game is December 21st against Avon Grove.
