When you think of a Christmas movie, what do you imagine?

Home Alone? The Grinch? A Christmas Story?

Christmas movies are always filled with a couple major things: presents, hot cocoa, and Santa. However, there is one more common thing we tend to look over - the movie's themes!

Every holiday movie seems to have a “Christmas miracle” where Santa saves the day with gifts and ho ho ho’s. These movies are filled with magic and enchantment at every corner.

Nevertheless, positivity is always at the center of these films. Their heartwarming charm and ability to put a smile on anyone’s face puts them in a league of their own. The constant hope of a great Christmas, joy of the holiday season, and faith in one-another will keep anyone cherry.

Next time you watch a Christmas movie, give your English teacher the gift of analysis (even if it's boring). You’ll find holiday movies to be even more jolly!
